Applying

So you've got the skills and experience to become a Relay Logistics driver and are now interested in joining us. Your first step is to apply using our Application Form and follow the steps shown in the form, it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes of your time!

Once you've followed the application form process and we find that you're a good match, we'll contact you to discuss the next steps, keep scrolling down!

Onboarding

We've now made you an offer and you've accepted it, great! We can now move onto the onboarding process. Our aim is to make this process as smooth as possible for applicants. There are 3 easy steps when onboarding:

1. License check - Mandatory checks are made on your license to see if it is valid and that you don't exceed the maximum number of points.

2. Drug and alcohol test - A swab test is done to make sure you're fit for driving - this usually takes around 10 minutes and is performed at the depot.

3. Background check - You'll receive an email from Accurate background usually within 2 days of accepting the offer. Remember to open the link and fill in your details, it's very straight-forward!

Training

Onboarding, check - training, next! We take pride in hiring only the best and so we provide all our drivers with the best training! We split training in 3 ways to ensure you're ready to drive on the road.

1. Classroom - You'll receive an amazing 2 days worth of classroom training, which will cover all the topics to assist in your journey. At the end this, you'll need to do a quick test based on what you've learnt to ensure everyones safety.

2. Ridealong - Excellent, you've completed the classroom training and passed the test! Congratulations, you're now ready to begin driving alongside an experienced driver for 2 days. Remember to ask questions to your ridealong buddy, they're here to help you.

3. Nursery routes - Now that you've completed all the training necessary, we're confident that you can deliver on your own. Don't worry, we won't throw you into the deep end straight away - we'll give you fewer routes to deliver to (still paid for the full route, of course). Your first 8 routes will be reduced to help ease you in.

Amazing! You're now a fully fledged Relay driver! Welcome to the team, we can't wait to work alongside you. Now you're ready to complete full routes at 100% capacity, but don't worry, you'll always get constant support from us!
